Dr. Fontenot attended college at the University of Louisiana and medical school at Louisiana State University. He completed his residency at Texas A&M Scott and White. Dr. Fontentot's spine fellowship was at the Florida Spine Institute.
Dr. Fontentot and his wife, Mitzi, have four children: Kirsten, Megan, McKenzie and Peyton, and one granddaughter, Ella. Dr. Fontenot enjoys spending time with his family, comparative pistol shooting, motorcycle touring and martial arts. He is from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and has been practicing in the East Texas region for 23 years.
